Association Resource Center Welcomes New Executive Team Member, Douglas Erber

Expanding expertise and energy for client partners

Folsom, California —The Association Resource Center (ARC) is excited to welcome Douglas Erber to its senior management team. Erber is taking on the role of executive director for the Infant Development Association of California (IDA), replacing Debbe Dreher, who is stepping down in anticipation of retirement. Erber’s addition to the team also marks a landmark for ARC, as he is the company’s first completely remote employee.

Erber has a fantastic background in successful non-profit management and building relationships in his previous positions. In his past role at the Japan America Society of Southern California, he took on many diverse responsibilities such as marketing and communications, fundraising, executive director, and president. Personally and professionally, he has a passion for working for the betterment of children and families facing early life challenges, leading to his successful placement with IDA. Currently, Erber also volunteers his time as co-chair of California’s Interagency Coordinating Council for Early Intervention and president of the board of the Autism Partnership Foundation.

“I am excited about joining the ARC team to serve as executive director for its client, IDA,” commented Erber. “For the past decade, I’ve volunteered in leadership positions to benefit people with special needs, especially children.” He added, “The position at IDA, through the ARC, is exactly the career opportunity I was seeking.”
