About Leslie Murphy (LM): Leslie is the President of Raybourn Group International, as well as a current member of the AMCI Board of Directors. Leslie has been a leader in association management for more than 30 years, contributing to a variety of associations from professional, educational and philanthropic groups to an emerging trade association. She brings a skill set of strategic planning, visionary management and increasing member value to the organizations she serves.
AMCI: If you could trade lives with anyone for a day, who would it be and why?
LM: Vera Bradley. She was a women who had a vision and built something that has made a difference.
AMCI: What is your greatest superpower?
LM: I love being able to connect people with each other.
AMCI: What’s one thing - either industry-related or not - you learned in the last month?
LM: How important empathy is when addressing solutions.
AMCI: Advice you wish you could tell your younger self?
LM: You are not an imposter!
