Rising Leader Award
The AMCI Rising Leader Award recognizes an emerging professional within an AMCI member company who demonstrates the ability to embrace and execute leadership opportunities while providing extraordinary support and service to their AMC and/or clients. This award highlights individuals who are building a visible presence as thought leaders within their company, AMCI, and the broader association community.
Eligibility
Nominee must be employed by an AMCI member company in good standing.
- Must have fewer than 10 years of AMCI service.
- Owners are not eligible.
- Nominee must be formally nominated by an AMC Principal.
Nominations
- Nominations may be submitted by AMC Principals.
- Submissions should include:
- A narrative describing the nominee’s leadership contributions and impact.
- Testimonials from peers, clients, or colleagues.
- Supporting details related to accreditation, volunteer roles, and AMCI participation.
Selection Criteria
- Nominees will be evaluated based on:
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to take initiative and contribute beyond client leadership roles.
- Volunteerism & Visibility: Active involvement and presence within AMCI, their AMC, and/or other industry communities.
- Thought Leadership: Recognition as an emerging voice and visible leader within their company and the AMCI community.
- Engagement: Participation in AMCI programs, committees, or initiatives.
- Professional Excellence: Relevant credentials or accreditations that reflect commitment to the AMC profession.
Award Frequency
- May be presented annually, based on qualified nominations.
- Final selection is determined by the AMC Institute Awards Committee and approved by the AMC Institute Board of Directors.
- The award will not be presented if:
- No nominations are submitted, or
- Submitted nominations do not meet the established criteria, at the sole discretion of the Nominating Committee.
