SBI Announces New Association ExecutiveSEATTLE, WA, October 9, 2020 - SBI Association Management (SBI), a Seattle-based association management company (AMC), is pleased to announce Felicia Kenan as its newest Association Executive. Kenan is an accomplished Association Executive with more than seventeen years of association experience, working for associations in both the stand alone and AMC models. She has earned a Master's in Public Administration and is a Certified Meeting Planner (CMP). Additionally, Kenan is working towards her Certified Account Executive (GAE) credential, placing her among an exclusive group of first-class association executive professionals. Kenan joins SBI following her role as Director of Education at the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians, where she managed their Continuing Medical Education (CME) program, including maintaining accreditation for the organization. Her most notable accomplishments during her tenure there include securing over $100K in education grants and launching a new practice transformation education initiative. The association clients Kenan has worked with in the past include physicians, anesthesiologists, and educators, among others. At SBI, she will be the Executive Director for The American Academy of Oral Medicine (AAOM), the American Board of Oral Medicine (ABOM), and the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society (PCRS). AAOM is the membership organization representing the discipline of Oral Medicine, whose membership provides care to thousands of our nation's youth and adults whose underlying medical condition affects oral health and the delivery of dental care. AAOM is a sponsor of ABOM, which is responsible for examining and certifying candidates who have received approved postdoctoral training. Requirements correspond to those of national specialty boards. PCRS is a multidisciplinary medical specialty society providing CME to physicians and allied healthcare professionals, and offers the highest quality CME designed and presented by thought leaders in reproductive medicine.
