NYSAE Announces New Board of Directors

New York, NY – The New York Society of Association Executives (NYSAE) announced its Board of Directors for 2021-22 today at the annual membership meeting. Starting July 1, newly-elected board members for two-year terms are:

• Lisa Delventhal - Manager, Student and Young Professional Programs for IEEE;
• Colleen Harper, MPA, CAE - Executive Director for Audio Engineering Society;
• Joya Nuruddin Herman – Association Manager, Jaffe Management; and
• Manny Avramidis, President & ‎CEO of the American Management Association‎;

They join the current board of directors: Joanne S. Barry, CAE, Marsha Block, CAE, CFRE, Robert Blumenfeld, MBA, CAE, Jerry Cito, David Jackson, CMP, Malachy Kavanagh, CAE, Donna J. Kelley, CMP, CASE, Anat Kendal, CPA, PFS, Amish Mehta, CPA, Rhonda Payne, CAE, Mary Ellen Pelzer, JD, Charles Riotto, Claire Rosenzweig, CAE, Dr. Robert Spangler, and Kim Unger, JD.

The NYSAE officers starting their second-year term on July 1 are:
• Joanne S. Barry, CAE – Chair
• Charles Riotto – Immediate Past Chairman
• Dr. Robert Spangler – Chair Elect *
• Amish Mehta, CPA – Treasurer
• Marsha Block, CAE, CFRE - Secretary

*Due to a vacancy, Dr. Robert Spangler was appointed by the NYSAE board to serve as Chair-Elect until June 30, 2022.

Leaving the board on June 30, 2021 are:
• Louis J. Coletti
• Vijay Dandapani
• David Murphy, CPA, MBA
• Gerard Thiers, CAE
